Jamie started performing stand-up comedy in 2013 and performed his debut solo show, That Funny Blind Guy, at the Edinburgh Fringe to packed houses. He then quickly established himself on the Scottish comedy scene. He has performed 6 solo shows at the Edinburgh in total, all of which received stellar reviews. Inn 2019, Jamie took his show, Designated Driver, on a Scotland-wide tour. In 2017 he was named on the BBC’s hot talent list and he was also a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award competition.

JJamie has appeared twice on the award-winning BBC Scotland comedy Scot Squad, featured on BBC Radio 4’s Fred at The Stand and Rosie Jones: Box Ticker, BBC Scotland’s The Comedy Underground and he became the first ever blind comedian to appear on a TV panel show – Breaking The News. He also appeared in the BBC Scotland pilot, The Scotts, which has since been commissioned as a series and was invited to speak at the world famous Oxford Student Union.

As well as comedy performing, Jamie is a professional voice over artist. His credits include adverts for Tennants and the Scottish Government, and the BBC One documentary, Without Limits.
